please please please don't blitz the hell out of brady. We knew it going into last game and did it anyway too often. Find a way to get pressure without the blitz.

Which means JJ, please blow up double teams while chipping the TE's.

And Connor, earn a new contract (with someone else) with 1 amazing game

Brandon Brooks is going to be a BIG FACTOR in the game as well. If you notice how much more he's been playing since the debacle in New England. That's just about the only lineman we have that might be able to take him heads on.

Kubes and Dennison been prepping him over the last month for this rematch, hope he's up for it.

There's was one play the Texans ran off RG where they pull the tackle (Brown) to the other side for an extra blocker. Brown and Wilfork collided into each other, and I swear I felt my TV move it was such a big collision. We need Brooks to step up badly: Ben Jones got eaten up by Wilfork last game. It is not that Wilfork is that quick or fast: he is just huge, which should play right up into Brook's alley of expertise. Jones just does not have that size.

What's ya'll take on coverage situations? Been running scenarios of what would potentially work versus them. I know man isn't ideal for sure but if we were I was thinking something along these lines.

J-Jo and Kareem on Lloyd/Welker (can't let Harris cover Welker again)

Reed and Quin covering Hernandez/Gronk (Barwin and James can't keep up with them)

I think that a cover zone is our best option though and gotta get pressure from our front 4-5 otherwise Brady is going to rip us to shreds ...again

They need to be watching tape of how Arizona beat them in wk 2. Get to Brady, score everytime in the red zone, Touchdowns preferably but keep scoring cause Brady will, run the ball and trust your tight ends

The Line...both on offense and defense...If the Texans can hold their own...it could be close...if not...we will get blown out yet again...This time no holds bar...Brady needs to eat a lot of turf...rattling Brady may help keep him off his rhythm...

The XFactor this time will be Gronk...his presence is huge for the patriots...bc it opens crossing routes for Welker, and bc Gronk is a big time play maker...Our Linebackers will need to play their best in order for us to even have a chance...

    So overall thoughts:
    1. Score TDs instead of FGs
    2. Take out Gronk and Welker
    3. Dominate the Line

Some good news: Gumbel/Dierdorf are heading to Denver, so we'll get the CBS #1 team of Nantz and Simms.

Not that it means anything for the game, but it's a relief not to have to listen to Dan ****ing Dierdorf for at least eight more months.

We have to contain their tight ends. Think if our front 4 can consistently apply pressure up front and have man coverage over the top we should get them rattled up a bit. From what I saw yesterday I think we will do alright.

Turnovers will be the key; we need at least three, one for a touchdown. Besides that, Brady must be under pressure from the moment he takes the field, all out assault. Last time he could have a lawn chair in the pocket. Finally, Kubiak has to go all out and I mean all out. Every trick play, every surprise, every unpredictable play in the book: swing for the fences. You know what will happen if Kubiak goes vanilla, same thing that happened last time. But most important, we need some timely breaks.

I think the following things need to happen:

    1. +2 in the TO battle
    2. 150+ yards for Foster (4.5 yds/carry or better)
    3. 0 Points scored by NE defense and special teams
    4. Sack Brady at least 3 times, and pressure him a TON.

My heart is feeling it, but my brain is having a hard time fathoming it.

    Go Texans!!!!

Love Nantz, nice to have a hometown guy in the booth, but I'm not a fan of Simms.

Posted in the other thread, stop their running game and we have a great chance to win. Brady will get his, nothing you can do about it. Trust me, go look at their schedule results and stats. STOP THE RUN!!!

Oh yea... we also need to take a touchback on every kickoff. If we do find ourselves lucky enough to punch it past the 20 on a runback, you know there will be a flag on us bringing it back to the 10.

We can't continue to have the flags on special teams, give me touchbacks and fair catches!

Good. Please let the Patriots be looking past the Texans. I want them all to think this will be an easy, layup game. So when the Texans sneak in and win it in Foxboro, I can send this to my brother in Boston:
