Key to game: Adelman pulling out Head for BJ

You know what, Bobby is becoming my favourite Rockets' player. I live this guy, he has everything this team needs. I know at the beggining he had some awful games but looks like he's fallen in the right shape. He's got the expierence, he knows the ofense, he can play defense and first of all, he CAN MAKE 3s and open shoots. Gotta love this guy. He should see, more more and more minutes

 

I liked the adjustment of putting BJ on Baron Davis instead of Rafer Alston at the end. Even though he's short, he has the strength to keep PGs from bullying him at the basket. That's Rafer's big weakness on the defensive end, dealing with stronger PGs.

If we face Golden State in the playoffs, I think BJ on BD is going to be a key matchup.

 

I honestly can't stand it when Head is in the game. He is too one dimensional for me.

 

He sucks. He is good only if he makes those outside shots. I tought he hed pretty good looks in last game but he missed them all. But I'm still happier to see Bobby+Head than Bobby+Alston

Head should be in until the very end. He is good at those last second FTW money shots.

i didnt get it last night, this morning, or this afternoon, but i got it now and im rolling.

 

It was a good move last night but I don't think Adelman should make it a standard practice to pull Head for BJ prematuraly. A move like that could end up blowing up in your face leading to a very sticky situation.

Given BJ's age and Head's youth sometimes it might be better to leave Head in and swallow the results.

The only reason I am glad we didn't end up with Gay (and I would still prefer him even though Battier has been impressive at times) is to prevent discussions like this. BJ and Head are enough to cope with, especially with some members of the forum. They can't resist. The "head" jokes went on for months after he came here, now this.

 

Are the lame, r****ded and overused "get Head" references ever going to end? Can we petition Luther to change his last time? For real, what's it going to take for me to read a thread pertaining to Luther Head and not waste half of my time skimming through the annoying "I LOVE HEAD!" comments?
