sounds good. tmac is without question our best defender when he's trying (all the time in the playoffs), but at the same time if you don't have to waste him on an offensive player (okur) -- why bother (ak47)?

exactly, and u dont want tmac to have any chance of being in foul trouble. remember, tmac didn't start out on dirk. JVG said that he wanted to know how the game would be officiated b4 he put tmac on that "guy" that he wanted tmac to shut down.

so i dont think we'll see tmac on okur/deron unless they're on fire or in the 4th. we want tmac to save his energy while playing all out on offense.

though i think adrenaline will let tmac play all out all the time.

i think if tmac sticks on okur permanently for at least 3 quarters, i GUARANTEE okur will have no impact on the game.

but the jazz have other scorers so just like dallas two yrs ago. after shutting down dirk, stack got hot so mac switched onto him. but then howard got hot so mac switched on to him. he even switched onto terry late in game 3 b/c terry was hot.

trust me, mac will guard basically everyone outside of boozer.
