Rogans movie are somewhat funny but not really. In Knocked up there is no way that fine girl would be with that fat a$$. He is fat and should in no way be leading movies, especially in movies where his love interest is better looking than ugly betty.
Have you ever looked around at some of the members of the opposite sex that are dated by seemingly attractive people?
You act like these movie are cranked out of some factory, here are the listed writers: 40 Year Old Virgin- Carell and Apatow based on an idea by Steve Carell from a character he created years ago. Knocked Up- Judd Apatow Superbad- Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg- a script they have been working on since they were kids. Walk Hard- Jake Kasdan & Apatow, Kasdan came up with the idea and brought it to Apatow. Kasdan was the director. Forgetting Sarah Marshall- Jason Segel Pineapple Express- Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg This isn't even counting Anchorman, Talledega Nights, and Step Brothers. Frankly, it's because he's worked so much with the guys in the 4 movies up there he didn't direct that people act like he's the driving force of all of those movies when in reality, his role has been closer to what he's done with Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. So these movies aren't being cranked out by "writers" who don't care. I mean on Knocked up, a lot of the key scenes are straight out of Judd Apatow and his wife's first pregnancy. That's personal stuff. The next movie he's directing, Funny People, is about stand up comedians, based on his time doing stand up.
LOL, kind of off subject, but I had no clue they couldn't drink coffee... On the Front Page, we called a BYU fan after they got their butts handed to them by TCU and Matt was talking to him and basically bashing Utah and beraiding the guy, but when asked a fan if he would get coffee with him and the man went off... BACK TO POINT The movie looks pretty good. Smith+Apatow=Success? I hope so...plus you got Darrell from the office and the dude from Clerks... Looks pretty funny
I loved Wedding Crashers, 40-Year Old Virgin, and Knocked Up, all for the same reasons: the dialogue was hilarious to me. I don't know if Rogen alone can make or break a movie. I think it is more about the material that he is given. Oh yeah, and for those who think a fine girl wouldn't hook up with a fatty (he isn't even that fat) with a jew fro...I've seen similar incidents with my own two eyes.
