Harden also had Durant and Westbrook as his "vets" ahead of him. He wasn't running the offense, either. With RGV and the Rockets, KPJ is potentially going to be the best player on the team for a while after the current vets go their way. Harden was the 3rd man on the totem pole in OKC. I'm still holding back my excitement until I see KPJ do it in the NBA for a while, but he's looking awesome so far.
No sht - that’s funny. Maybe they run into one another at some pro am in California. Will be fun to see the hyper athleticism of KPJ vs the savvy vet with similar play styles.
man i'm full on kool-aid but if we can get a a 3rd banana in this upcoming's draft our rebuild looks really good with a Wood/Porter pair. Sprinkle in defensive studs Tate and Kmart, we could have an overnight rebuild.
Thomas showed well in the G. At 6'5" was averaging 16/7. Good compliment to Porter and Martin. Would have been nice to develope him. Unfortunately, no roster room for him. We are cluttered at guard. Need to sign Brown and Nwaba, plus Mason Jones is more NBA ready.
Only 5 games left and it looks like the vipers won’t make the playoffs. Get ready to see KPJ with the Rockets the 2nd week of March!
I’d prefer to see RGV make the playoffs and Porter come up after leading the squad to a G league title
