There is no question that Porter is extremely talented and he has all the skills and ability to be a top 10 player in the league. However his performance hasn't matched his talent yet. He is still really young though.
I agree with your sentiment that we shouldn't just hand him the keys to the offense. He obviously isn't ready for that. He needs to develop more for anywhere close to that type of burden.

Can't tell if serious or not. If not: He is not a 3pt shooter and can't consistently make open shots with feet set. It's really no surprise that he couldn't make it. It's like saying that a guy like Shaq wasn't clutch because I'm sure there was a game where he was forced to throw up a 3 because there was no time left to pass.
Pretty common to wait with trades till deadline, even for lower level players. I'm sure there will be a trade for them.
@D-rock Do you know how signing g-league players works? Scenario: Utah wants to sign Armoni Brooks Do we get any right to sweep in first and take him because he is on our affiliated g league team? Or do they just get him if they want him?
no rights what so ever with regards to a two way or an NBA contract. If Armoni wants to give notice to the Rockets he can but it's a free for all
Damn. That sucks. I hope we take him, i really like his shot. It's not a fluke that he's hitting that much, he has a legitimately nice shooting stroke
