The problem is PJ has been miserable this year as well and is 35. McClemore is a 3 point specialist who brings no defense or really anything else to the equation. Are either of them even in the rotation for Philly right now? I think you are overvaluing what we will get back for PJ given his current performance.
I hope you’re wrong, but I understand your thinking. PJ shines next to great creators, something this team doesn’t have a lot of. We will see soon enough.
I too, hope I'm wrong. Perhaps PJ will go on a hot streak before the trade deadline and get his shot back. Last night, he looked completely lost and disinterested. That debate aside, I'm high on Porter Jr. and wouldn't be surprised to see him starting next to John Wall next season.
Really excited to see this kid in action. If he can get his head on straight, his ceiling is the roof.
This could be the game where we replace Hartenstein and Bruno Caboclo in our hearts all at once. The question is, which one will average 25/15/5 in the G-League first.
UH fan, so I am also looking forward to seeing Armoni Brooks, great 3-point shooter, rebounder and defender. Also Cumberland from Cincy was awesome in college - yeah I know, not the NBA, but he's very strong, and good on offense as a 6'5" SG. Would love to see those two on the Rocket's roster one day.
