    Threw food?
    Maxwell threw dumbbells.

Shows in the 90s, we never wasted food.

What's strong and smart about John Lucas is he won't be a father figure but he will have that type of impact on Porter Jr. just by being genuinely honest and consistently there for him as a friend and a man.

Wish he could start getting in practice time at least. He may be the most talented player on our roster, he is truly OVERLY talented, and his upbringing was extremely rough. Just going to be hard to see him putting it all together so quickly after multiple years of issues off the court, going all the way back to his college days, which is why he fell to the late first round in the draft.

Doesn’t sound like he’ll be with the team anytime soon either. Just a strange situation:

Needs love and attention at his age and his state. Cavs couldn't/wouldn't provide that it seems which is odd considering Klove's work with depression. Rockets can so I wish him the best because I'm tired of seeing so many young men lost and throwing their lives away because they couldn't get the help they needed and instead got locked up or worse. Rockets, please help him and I don't care if he ever scores a bucket or not.

I wonder if they can make Tate like a 'big brother' for him in addition to Lucas's guidance. Tate seems very good-natured and responsible.

I believe the Cavs did indeed try. Bickerstaff was working with him but I guess he got deprioritized cuz Cavs started winning. They got Sexton, Okoro and Garland locking up the guard spots and didnt want depressed people around their young guns I guess.

I wouldnt make another player a big anything. If Tate gets traded tom you might see another meltdown.

I expect nothing from him because we only gave up a top 55 protected 2nd rounder.

I just hope he doesn't blow up our locker room or influence our young guys negatively.

A few of you guys make it seem like Porter Jr is coming here to start a locker room revolt. Hes just a 20 yr old kid. If Christian Wood can do it so can he. Woods situation was not to that extreme but you know what I mean.
It's not the end for him yet.

Christian Wood is a recovering knucklehead. It might not be a good thing to put a structure less full blown knucklehead in the locker room with him. Let’s see what they come up with to help Kevin Porter.
