KPJ def has some Harden similarities but he’s a lot more athletic. Hardens handle is better it wasn’t as good as it is know when he first hit to houston. I like this kid I really like Jalen green a lot but KPJ if he is dedicated he’ll be the best player on the team imo. I don’t think he’ll put on the weight and strength that Harden has but he has different attributes also. if he stays in the gym I really think he has all NBA potential. he’s got some Harden in him with some stuff I can’t compare him to anyone else. very exciting young prospect. time will tell but he’s got all the attributes to be a top 10 player in the league without a doubt.
He's looking good in all these summer videos, but I often see the ball sliding away from him. I think he jumps to the next level if he tightens up his handles. Very excited to see him with Green and Wood...If they click We might be good sooner than We think.
Being good from a “can they win now” perspective will be all about defense and that’s really where I struggle to see an early breakthrough. That being said you could always go out and supplement talent with a Pat Bev or PJ type if you got a GM who knows how to find them. One things for certain now though and that’s that winning games with this current team as bad as they all are at defense, will be hard to see happening. If they are blowing it out of the water though offensively I would be okay with some mid season trades to make a run as a play in team if we have that go too scoring option all good teams need first and foremost. Silas has his work cut out for him though that’s for sure.
His shooting does need to improve but consider this his average last year was 31.1 percent which is about 1 percent lower than what luka averaged hid first 2 years. If he can improve his shooting to about 34 percent he would be golden
Well according to that Emoni Bates clip, he's 6'8", 6'9", 6'7", 6'6" ... take your pick. *EDIT* : BTW, He was measured at 6'5.5" in shoes/6'4" without shoes at the combine. I don't know what he may have grown to, if he's grown.
Of course, defense is the key. And there will be growing pains for sure. In my post I was focused on the offensive side, as these pro am and summer videos barely show any defense, so I looked at areas on kpj offense that need improvement. As for team defense, there is much more work to be done. But I like that We have guys like Nwaba, Garuba and Theis, who can be positives on the D side. I have a feeling that this team will have great chemistry, most of the guys seem like high character and energy players. Regarding Silas, I think that he will design a efficient offense. His system is good for these type of guys. But defense will probably give him a few headaches this season. Ultimately, our defense will be the key to us being good.
He can be the 2nd best player on a title contender IMO. Just worried he’s going to lose control of his life at any point and waste the talent.
Because his history suggests that he is capable of getting in his own way. He’s in a good situation now and seems to have really bought into being a rocket though.
