This is the year he needs to learn what is possible. Learn how to score. Then learn how to reign it in and wield it down the road. It's the best possible scenario to learn how to score. It's the worst possible scenario to learn how to play the game. So you build something then add to it once you get a pair of pliers. And then as we add quality players we'll see where it goes. As of right now everyone on the roster is expendable including KPJ, except for Wall, because as terrible as he had been, he is a legit starter. We add a center piece in the draft, and see who fits.
Needs to work on his shots because teams are sagging him off right now. He’s not getting to the rim enough.
You are talking about scrubs who just a few people overrate but if you have been here long enough you will notice the general posting masses overrate other players and hate on their own players. Harden is good example dude is a perennial MVP candidate but so many people here bash him nonstop. Everybody seemed to be hating on Morey but the moment he left he is a god. If you looked at the Cp3 threads in 2019 lots of people called him the worst anchor the Rox have ever had but the moment he got traded to OKC suddenly he is the point god again. Even currently how many people are bashing Rafael Stone? Dude spent 0 meaningful resources and got KPJ, Christian Wood, Tate and Kmart Jr but people are saying he is the worst GM ever and had a horrible first season. It makes 0 sense the guy practically manufactured talent out of nothing but he is trash according to CF.
EG scored 50 just last season at age 31. KPJ did that 10 yrs earlier lol how is that even the same? But EG def had some all star potential when he was young dude got picked in the lotto it's just that he got derailed by injuries and also played mostly in the West which was chock full of talent. If he were in the East he would have been neck and neck with guys on the level of Jrue Holiday for an all star spot.
I can’t wait I think he wants Green here. With them following each other on Instagram(players use that **** for subliminal messages) I think they are gassing each other up privately or individually as becoming a great backcourt duo I also think we need to surround KPJ with young kids like Green(apparent strong work ethic) and KJ who will probably be a better influence and group of guys to be around
His personal issues is a concern, and was a big reason for the drop in his draft stock. If he matures and takes this 2nd chance seriously (he has had hiccups with COVID protocols but in general his focus is in the right place), I don't see why he can't become an all-star.
Do you think Green will influence Porter or the other way around. Green seems to like that party lifestyle too. Seems like Rockets can use a kid who prefers to keep his nose clean.
Porter, Martin and McLemore are all in Cabo together. I'm sure Porter was drunk / high tweeting, loving where he's at in life with the Rockets. Bring on GREEN.
