What do you mean no one knows. Regular peons like me and you don't know. People in basketball circles talk, words got around to all the teams which explains why he was drafted 30th despite him being a 5 star recruit out of high school and projected to be much higher.

Some folks on the Reddit say it was weed at USC, that was all I could find.

How naive do u have to be to actually think all KPJ did at USC was smoke some weed? KPJ fanbois post like they were sheltered as kids and have zero street smarts or social awareness.

they’re the type to believe OJ was actually innocent

Not to mention in 2011 it was definitely seen much more as a negative, compared to 2019 when it has become much more widely accepted and legally used now especially in pro sports

Weed and partial insanity led to misdemeanors.....other acts. Weed is hardly the reason.

Rockets can not waive him until after the NBA completes its investigation. The fastest way to get rid of him would be to trade him. I think that might be more realistic after the NBA hands down its punishment and whatever team that would trade for him could waive him immediately. But for now the Rockets are stuck with him.

This has already been debunked multiple times. They can.

Yes but did someone say they can and still get a warning or a small fine....for not entirely respecting the NBA...

Now I have a feeling the Rockets are going to keep him. He gets a 3 game suspension. Case is dropped. He joins the team in mid November.

Ok, I was going by what was reported in sports illustrated. Do you where it was debunked as I'd be curious to see it.

Lol the suspension is coming from the league and not the Rockets.

The league is likely to suspend him for more..

Morant got 25 to 30 games for flashing a toy gun.

    It's a travesty for sure....

@heypartner had also stated it, and he is very reliable, here is a post by @aelliott that explains it (I can't remember a single time @aelliott has been wrong about anything - it's like he is the anti-DD lol). I think several other people have already clarified it.

So the Rockets should wait for the league to suspend him since they won't be on the hook for that money right? Then waive him.
