Ya, I know, it was interesting because Ramona and him were talking about the Harden and Morey relationship.

And then the Harden vs Rockets game came up, Kevin Porter stole the ball from Harden or something.

That is when Lowe used the seconds to stray from his topic.

How this came about although it was not a subject they intended to talk about in the first place.

It's just a snippet so I may be missing some context, but the way he worded it seems to be where he believe the Rockets are doing a pure salary dump like the way the Mavs dumped Bertans to the Thunder. But if the Rockets side of the news are to be believed, they are looking more to get a rotation player back, which would suggest they also want to take on a contract that may be of negative value at this point or that they may actually be willing to put in real valued assets (like one of the Nets picks). The combination of those things may make it feasible rather than no chance. IMO still a long shot, but at least possible.

 

It is not impossible but I think most journalists think that the motivation of other teams even compensated with incentives like 2nd round draft picks are like very slim......

 

It is becoming very weird that the Rockets haven’t yet done one of the two things Lowe mentioned. I mean, who doesn’t do that … other than us, I guess

 

The Rockets never said they are only giving away 2nd rounders. It's the journalists who automatically assumed that. If the Rockets are willing to offer more, either by willing to take on bad money or willing to give away a 1st, then trade possibility improves immensely.

 

I think Adam Silver and the NBPA prolonging this, is not a good thing for any trades.

Most eyes are still on Lillard and Harden.

Yeah of course. Like with any new trades, if they are willing to part with the additional player, then so be it.
