Now we know why our fans dont show up for the regular season games...ish like this happens on the regular and our fans are smart enough to know...Houston sports will find ways to disappoint its city...Guaranteed. If it werent for Hakeem's brilliance, we would be a major market city without a title in any of the 3 major pro sports(Football, baseball, or basketball)
Funny. The Blazers played the same number of guys as the Rockets and were just as young if not younger. Yet they seemed to have no problem executing late in games. The Warriors a year ago seemed to do just fine against the Nuggets and even the Spurs with a very young, inexperienced team. Coaching matters. Morey doesn't need another wasted season for that to be drilled into his thick skull. The proof is staring at him right in the face after this series.
Dumb & idiot. Nice ! You're completely wrong on your assertions. IMO. Let's see who shows up on roster-players and coaches. ( Reference: Dwight Howard.) Surprise ! Great people WANT to work with Kevin McHale ! Oh gee really ? People now "losing respect" for Daryl Morey ? As if. Go Rockets !
This was a Les Alexander call, I feel. ****ing moronic and stupid. Can't believe we're bringing back this incompetent SOB.
QFT, repped. Superstars respond to superstar HEAD coaches. The issue at hand is authority. Morey does NOT want to relinquish his authority over this franchise and its basketball philosophy. I'm afraid that's something that fans don't want to admit.
Come to think of it: 54-28 in the first year, with new offense (inside outside with a dominant big man), and battling injuries throughout the season. Not so bad. Maybe they want to see if McHale will get better as coach as the team gels and gets better next season. Definitely need to fix the defense somehow.
Here's the thing. Morey wants to win like Miami did/does. Spoelstra got a lot of crap too and people didn't think of him as a good coach at all. Morey thinks star players matter, not coaching.
****ing Morey. God ****ing damnit. He better get us Rondo , Melo, Love, Nate Robinson and Deng because that's the only way we are advancing with this fool
Yes, some coaches do get better after 4-5 seasons. Rick Carlisle and Doc Rivers are both prime examples. Rivers was viewed as inept and Calisle was viewed as too difficult to get along with.
