Isn't harden the one that came in on his first day and made sure everyone had their shirts tucked in and started organizing drills?

He doesn't con off as a leader, but I think that's just because of his demeanor. Always has his shoulders slouched and has a little belly. But I think he has to be the leader.

With that being said, Howard also has to be a leader if he's making that much money. But Lin and parsons have both displayed great leadership capabilities and can man the ship if need be, imo, and that's what's great about this team.

why? he's not the oldest, most experienced, most skilled or most vocal. he's more of a little brother than a leader

To me, its the players who are most responsible for the teams success or failure. If the rockets lose in rd 1, howard and harden will take the blame. Just like when they lost to the jazz and the mavs, people pointed the finger at the 2 best players.

He's the most mature. He goes to church. I inks he's more of a glue guy if he can hold his own. To me it's harden then Bev because of the intensity he brings.

LOL, that's was Lin last season if that's the case. He was the most blamed for our 1st round exit and then Harden.

Really?!? If there's one, it's got to be Harden by default but I'll not be surprised if it'll be Howard later. It's his decision to be in the Rockets uniform. It'll be his to prove he can lead the Rockets to get that elusive ring.

Lin in ny was the leader. If he can create the same pick n rolls with Dwight then he's in the conversation for sure.

Lol I don't know why, but when I read that sentence and think of GARM, it screams Lin's name.

    Cut the crap.

If you were on the Rockets, who would you follow?

    Lin? no
    Parsons? not really
    Harden? yes
Dwight? too goofy, but he's major
    Beverley? he's got toughness at least . . .
    Garcia? OK
    Camby? too low-energy
    Asik? not good enough English
Brooks? at least he's got experience
none of the other new guys

Leave the overall leadership to Coach Kevin.
He can't coach that well but he leads by example and by his witty comments.

Dwight and Harden are the leaders, for obvious reasons. You can't have your leader of men still on his V-plates.

Anyone that admittedly doubts himself should not be the leader. Lin is a good kid, but he does not have leadership chops. The only one outside of Howard and Harden that could possibly be the leader of this group is Parsons. He's super confident, vocal, and clutch.
