    Right.. McHale broke Jeremy. Hardens also didn't help Jeremy. Beverly is unashamed taking Jeremy's spot. Dwight does not trust Jeremy. There is a lot of other possibilities other than Jeremy sucks.

    It's confirmation bias. People want to believe that McHale is a bad coach. Therefore, they take irrelevant things like this audio, and give it meaning that reinforces their preexisting belief.
