    This is what so many people fail to understand. Watch every single time they play the audio from a head coach, it's always the clapping and talking and motivating. None of us actually know what McHale is doing in the huddle, none of us know what play he's calling.

    It's shocking that some people actually think that the audio clips they play of McHale trying to motivate his guys to play hard is the only thing he does during the game.

    I have been critical of McHale since he has been here but I give him credit for better handling of the roster lately and playing players who deserve to be played and sitting players who deserve to sit. It has helped that the team is getting healthier as well. His big test is going to come in the playoffs. That's where we'll see truly how much he has grown as a coach.

    What does it say when the NBA acknowledges one of our own with an award but fans still don't get it?

    Man, vator, even evil has a good day once in awhile. Give the coach some credit.

    Good for him. Hope he keeps it up. We had a tendency to drift down towards the end of the season, hope it won't happen this season.

    If he broke Jeremy, then he also deserves credit for building up Bev's confidence. He's been balling lately. He hit the game winner against Phoenix and a bunch of huge 3-pointers in the 4th against Detroit.

    If McFail still has shame, he would return the reward and say it's all to the players' credit since he doesn't do squat other than just clapping on the sideline and say "Come on, guys!".

    NBA needs to revise how these award be decided, having best team record in the month doesn't mean the coach is good.
