Although the topic of this thread is very negative, it has actually lifted my spirits a bit. We're learning to laugh at this season!

That's right, it was his knee that he injured in the preseason game against the Magic.

How much does Harden pay to have ppl defend him.

    There are many apologists here.

I do not think most of them are Only haters. Part of them just want to win big.
Frustrated with being mediocre, years of first round exits, the occasional WCF fluke.

Any players that is not a perfect leader would be put under scrutiny and Harden is flawed big time. He does not even show up at one end of basketball.

its one thing to be put under scrutiny it's another thing when they just bash the guy... I mean he's putting up better numbers across the board and they just complete overlook it and only see the TOs and bad defense.... they don't see the countless times he drives and dishes to the corner for an open 3 and its bricked by Brewer or Ariza or bev.... yes his defense has regressed, but how about the poor defense this entire team has played this year

The game is played on both ends....he is a GREAT offensive scorer, a decent passer, an average decision maker, and an all time WORST defender.

    Here's the important question:

    Is he still fat?

We're almost halfway through the season and it sure seems like it.

Doesn't move on defense, a step slower and turnover-prone on offense.

McHale on NBATV now. He sounds happy and relaxed. Probably dealing with less stress than the guys who fired his ass.

Not a bad deal for him, really. $12 million extension requiring him to only coach 11 games.

James Harden might be the Shaquille O'Neal of shooting guards and possibly basketball at the moment.

NBA coaching had JVG lost most of his hair and made a Gollum out of him.

He wasn't the best looker before but that was too much. It took its toll. ;)

McHale never gave credit to the Papa & DMo combination that helped the Rockets go on a run when it was missing Howard/Harden or both in a couple stretches last season. The team had excellent ball movement and hustle during that time. Than Pap got injured and didn't come back the same or get those 6th man minutes.

Good point, I remember Papa had an uncanny ability to get assists to Dwight.
