McHale still pissed at harden failing to get a last second shot in game 2 of 2015 wcf finals.

2015 Game 2 wcf where curry and Thompson trapped harden and stole the ball couple feet inside half court.

McHale's point guard, Danny ainge, was more skilled and clutch than James harden!

 

Firstly McHale said Harden was a great player, smart and talented.

The problem is Harden has some weakness as a leader.

Considering how Harden missed 5 Fts in elimination game, how Harden was invisible in clutch time...
I don't think McHale is totally wrong.

Remind me of Durant's epic tales of accomplishments before he joined the Warriors.

Remind me of the two playoff games Durant played BEFORE he joined the Warriors and what happened in them.

Remind me how many series Lebron has won against the Warriors since Durant has been on that team?

Once again, Harden isnt the problem. The Warriors series was Harden + role players against a team of All stars. CP3 was a no show. Clint was a zero.

The problem is that this team does not have enough talent to win against one of the best teams ever assembled in the history of the NBA talent-wise.

 

No one is saying Durant is a leader either, he had to go play with another team that had leaders to win.

It's easy making finals in the east when you dont have to go through the Warriors and only have cupcakes teams to deal with, and then you come to West and cant even make the playoffs.

Lebron was 3-9 in the finals. Two of his titles have come when he was part of a super team himself. The other one against a hobbled Warriors team without Bogut and Green, and no Durant.

 

Are there “buckets” of supremely talented HOF players that never win a ring?

I mean clearly TMac’s not in the same buckets as Barkley, Nique, Stockton, etc. but are there buckets beyond that?? I don’t really know.

If Harden goes down without a ring he’ll clearly be in that top bucket. And everyone in that bucket failed to get there for various reasons. Competition, team strength, coaching, their own leadership or shortcomings, some combination of the above.

Hardens reasons will be some combination of the above.

Harden still doesn't have any impressive playoffs series so far...

 

He averaged 29 ppg for the series, NOT 40 pts per game.

And once again, he beat a hobbled Warriors team without Bogut and Draymond Green. That was pretty much their defense gone.

If you think James would have beaten that Warriors team without that lucky break, after the Warriors were up 3-1 in the series, you are delusional.

Warriors made a habit of steam rolling Lebron in the finals.
