Oh I know, as I was one of his biggest fans back in the day. Right now though the only difference I see between them is the fact that Miller was the focal point of the offense and clutch factor. Martin probably won't have the offense run for him with Rick Adelman, but we will see how well he can do on clutch factor when the defense can't focus on denying him the ball.

    Troll?

You would rather have him score the same amount of points shooting contested fadeaway 20 footers?

WTF does it matter? If anything, I would say scoring the way Martin does is much more desired. Means are offense is working more smooth, because it doesn't require someone to make a spectacular one-on-one play all the time. Plus, at the same time it's getting other teams in the penalty so we get even more free throws. In case you didn't know, getting points at the free throw line is good. You make it sound like a negative.

I count at least three people in this thread who have me saying WTF?

    Only three??

For a team that relies so much on guys with a high BBIQ, alot of our fans seem to be low BBIQ type of fans.

I'm a big PPS geek, and love the numbers we're seeing from Martin, even if it is preseason.

1.1 or below - terrible (Ariza, McGrady)
    1.3 - average (Carmelo)
1.5 or higher - All NBA level (Dwight Howard, LeBron, Durant)

Martin getting 16 with 1.78 PPS is fantastic. It'll come down to earth, but I'm very hopeful that he thrives this year.

More points with less shots/touches/possessions - full of win.

So is Kmart the most efficient guard in the NBA? Or is it Nash?

I am fan of Martin. So if you take that, divide by the square root of 39, subtract the sum of his shot attempts from this year and last season, and carry the 2, I believe he has a single fan. But I could be wrong, it's fairly complicated so I don't expect you to be able to keep up. But the point is that you sir, are wrong.

I can tell from the posts in this thread which posters not to bother reading ever again in the GARM.

The lack of understanding and misconceptions are honestly alarming.

I'm loving Kevin, and our whole team right now. The only thing I want to see is Yao and Brad get fully into conditioned game shape and the two injured to get health.

Kevin Martin has to be the quietest scorer in the league... which is why some of you morons have no idea the impact his efficiency can have.

I see Kevin busting it at 45 % or so from 3 point land this year.

    over / under at 43 ?

i can't deny it - after watching the preseason, kevin martin is a legit scorer. this dude is a baller shooting guard.

let's hope he doesn't dissappear in 4th quarters and has some gutsy playoff wins in him.

Can someone logically explain to me why a quiet 25pts is not as good as a highlight reel 25pts in terms of winning the game.
