13 mil for a backup 2 isn't exactly good value.

Could K-Mart's inconsistency have been due solely to his injury? Maybe he is tougher than we've given him credit for and tried to play through it...unlike T-Mac. Also the injury could have had more to do with his play this year, than the trade that didn't happen. Though I'm sure it did impact his feelings towards the FO.

....it takes Kevin Martin 25 minutes to find his shot every game....and that's when he finds it. Outside of Adelman's system and coddling....well he has looked like **** all year.

You lose nothing if you keep him, as opposed to selling low.

You buy him out if a high profile player wants a roster spot..... You don't care about these things....

Dont forget they still have the Amnesty clause to use if they need to. However, I think they would rather save that as Scola insurance for the backend of his contract if he was to majorly decline. Martin only has the last year on his deal, but the Amnesty is there if they need it.

I got that .... but another year of emotional sucktitude on Martin's behalf is unbearable....

That's a different matter altogether. Of course you would move Martin's fat ass contract if we landed a max cat. But I'm saying if we don't, why would you move him at all, given his all time low value right now? Just keep him until his stock gets back to where it should be.

You would want to have his roster spot for young guns like Motiejunas or just better potential guys...would you not?

I figured you did. I hadnt seen it brought up in this thread yet though. I dont think its a likely option, but it should still be on the table if necessary.

It wouldn't make sense to rebuild when we are keeping Martin... and possibly Scola for 2 more years and releasing young guys....

We did pile up on crap... but Hill we could have kept just in case.

The organization isn't as down on Martin as daywalker is.

No point there.... Morey is disposing of players who did not work for new Coach... a natural process.... he is having a hard time dealing Martin

When JVG walked, they hired Adelman type players, when Adelman was not extended, they seek to rid of his players

    I just don't see a future...

So I made trade rumors and the Gasol trade up all by myself.... I am that imaginative?

And what business do you have with Kevin? Are you his brother?
