Dalembert's contract holds serious value as well considering it is $7MM with a team option. he can still be traded in time for another team to waive the option and remove $7MM of their books.

if anything this should have the opposite effect of what you are saying, making those players more valuable because of their "undervalued" contracts.

Pete, I think the disconnect in what you are saying and what I am saying is that you are looking at his value as a player, and I am looking at the numbers in a contract to match another incomming players contract without giving up half the roster.
