Budinger and Martin reunited under Adelman. All they need is sign Brad Miller and the beautiful Adelman offense is resurrected!

By comparison, Francisco Garcia was a bargain at $6.8 million, and he's an expiring contract in 2014. Shouldn't have let Cisco go without nothing in return.

Would have thought he could get more than that somewhere else.

Good luck to him. Hope he likes the ice.

Nice! Good for Twolves, good for Martin to play under Rick Adelman again and good for us because that deal for Harden looks better by the day

I don't read the board as fast as I used too, but can always count on skimming at night to find what ZBoy has to stay, to make it easy for me to agree and move on to the next thread.

admit it though. if you lived in Minnesota you'd also nab the whitest, black girl available, too. I would. I don't want the whitest white girl, much less the blackest white girl in that state...i'm also not interested in the neutral white girls so, I'm crossing the fence.

I'm still not so sure I'm ready for gingers...as much as I thought I was in s03e06 of GoTs

This could be a very underrated and great signing by the T-wolves. If he can stay healthy and show flashes of his younger self, Martin can still be one of the best scorers (plus low TO) in the NBA. Dude is still awesome at drawing contact and last year was shooting 42.6% from 3.

I think if they get a defensive SF they will be pretty good.

I think we all saw this one coming. He played his best basketball under Adelman.

Where does OKC go from here? Martin was a vital part of their bench.

There are so many better ways to spend money than Budinger/Martin. This team had potential, now they're cemented to this for awhile? Underwhelming. And I'm still not sure Rubio's skillset is conducive to winning basketball. You're sacrificing a lot of efficiency and ball protection for a few assists and risky steals.

this just proves how kevin martin is not committed to winning. He's on a team that can compete for a title every year and decides to sign in Minnisota instead.

I agree with you... but, didn't they start going down this route 2 years ago with Rubio? At this point, you know you have a PG that is great at setting people up, horrible at shooting. So they've surrounded him with shooters. At least makes some sense. KMart did shoot 43% on threes last year on 5 a game.

I'm sure they'd rather sign Kobe or Dwight, too... but those aren't options for them.

If I'm Minnesota, I'd explore trying to sign and trade for Iguodala, by virtue of simultaneously getting Faried, but giving up Love. Not sure how it would work salary wise, or structure wise, but if at all possible, essentially offer:

    Kevin Love
    for
    Re-signed Iguodala, Faried

You'd think Denver would do it. Love is better than Faried, and Iguodala is leaving. For Minnesota, it'd make them the new Nuggets, and if they can resign Pek, a solid lower playoff team. Rubio, Martin, Budinger, Faried, Pek... not horrible. Faried is obviously a step down, but he brings a toughness Love doesn't.

Great fit for him there, a smart guy - Adelman will use him well, he will thrive there.
