I wont think of this as a steal until we see what Lamb has to offer and what this Dallas pick winds up being. Hopefully Harden will be a top 5 talent in the league and the Rockets will be Championship contenders. Hopefully by then, whatever the outcome of Lamb and the Dallas pick, it wont matter.

Dallas pick is so ridiculously protected, it might never actually go to them.

It's fine, it's smart by Flip, he's getting in all the signings before Pek's likely offer sheet is way above his qualifying offer cap hold.

Did Kevin Martin just agree to a contract that is more or less the same as JJ Redick's? Wowzers. Dude has fallen.

Actually, wasn't Landry who was traded out to Sacramento to get Martin.

Nope, this is a good 'ol fashion Adleman boys get together.

Maybe they can get Chuck Hayes and use him in the high post! Now that would get me tuning into TWolves games on League Pass

Not a lot there. They could've picked Nogueira, who is also raw, but probably has more upside. Seems more athletic and fluid.

He's 30 years old and is proven as a subpar defender and more of a complementary scorer than a guy who creates for himself and others. There's only so much market for this even if he's really good at what he does.

Ik right? And considering those Rox were just a notch below the playoffs I feel like this team could be anywhere between a 4-8 seed if they can stay healthy

Mehh - they were simply getting out of the Harden deal while they thought his value was highest.

However, one wonders at the success they might have had in the post season after Westbrook's injury with Harden/Durant as a combination. Roleplayers can't step up at that level, and the "3 stars thing" seems to be in vogue.

I'da thought OKC still would want to keep Kevin Martin at that price.

Lets see if they get comparable talent at that price (quite possibly, though I don't know their cap situation)
