Why doesn't Aaron play small forward? Aaron would be the second best small forward in the league after Earl.
True. even if he was a more flashy player (yeah, it's shallow but people want to see exciting players.) he would get more recognition. Martin's reputation around the league (to NON-rockets fans) is a flopper with an ugly but effective offensive game and most people who vote don't want to see that in the all-star game.
Wait... so which part of his reputation is actually not true? I do feel his game is based on flopping(or getting cheap fouls to put it nicely) and this is exactly why he's an awful closer. You saw last night, he didn't get that call at the end he was getting all night.
according to espn dallas: Houston's Kevin Martin remains a fantasy target -- coveted by the Mavs since last winter -- but the Rockets have made it clear that trading Martin is not in their plans ... and that trading him to an in-state rival probably never will be. they want him, they won't get him
If the Rockets are out of the playoff race by February and Dallas is really desperate, we should take a hard look at their offer.
i agree. but i don't really like much of what they have to offer.. most are either overpaid, old, or earned my disdain by playing in dallas. pull in another team maybe?
I dont think he would get the foul calls to have a strong showing in the All-Star game...I see him trying to draw fouls against Wade and Rondo and get no calls...Then get a tech....Has that happened before in a AS game...DD where you at ???Check your Almanac mane
