2000-2001. We were pretty mediocre then too.

The biggest problem with us being so good offensively (well, actually, the only problem) is that the players that help us score so easily are the ones that contribute the most to our poor defense. And, A shot blocking center can only do so much. Even if Thabeet reached his potential, he'd likely disrupt the flow of offense and the defense would probably still be at least slightly below average.

I totally agree, usually those only-good-on-badteams players take a hell lot of shot just because no one else is good enough. Kmart doesn't force anything, he takes what the defense gives him and doesn't dominate the ball.

I think if he goes on a good team where attention is being paid on super stars, he will thrive.

I'm really sad that he never had the chance to play with a good Yao, he will be super effective on cuts and open threes...:(

If Martin was any good our team wouldn't be so bad. Tmac lead the same/worse roleplayers to better records singlehandedly. Martin is a statpadder but he doesn't make anyone else better.

Well, we actaully count on him for this kind of offensive figure, so no surprise at all.

Only for him to keep playing some D, he simply is a star player demanding half the money other stars are getting.

You have the right idea but the player needs to be packaged is Scola.

I only see that happening if Pat can develop a dependable post game.

I agree, but acquiring a high lottery pick for Luis is highly unlikely. It may be possible to get the 14th pick or a lower 1st rounder for him though.

Honestly, the best chance the Rockets have at moving up in this year's draft is going to be with Minnesota, and they've already come out and said that they would be willing to move their pick for a young veteran.

And if anybody is going to be packaged to Minnesota, I think it's going to be Lowry.

If that deal opportunity comes up, we're really going to see what Morey is all about because if there's anybody on this team that Morey desperately wants to hang on to, I think it's Lowry.

Nobodies saying he's a superstar...he's a role player whose job is to score points...and he does it better than pretty much anyone in the NBA.

Totally, disagree with the term "statpadder." Damn him for "padding his stats" with the higher efficiency than any guard in league. Damn him!

Your posts rarely make any sense.

Now if he could just impose his will into the game we could win.

Having a solid backup in C.Lee is going to keep him wearing down. We are set at the 2 for a while!

Kevin Martin is surprisingly athletic, he can really get up and dunk, that was one thing I was not that aware of before we got him.

I think that he is a good value at his current contract. Not a superstar, but a very good player.

Martin is a one of a kind player. Something about him though doesn't give off the vibe the other star players do. His defense has improved this year, but no matter what he does, I don't consider him an allstar, just a very good player. I think if this team had a great pg and a defensive center,
    We would be condensers.
