I can tell how little you know about the game just from your signature, much less your thoughts on iso vs team ball, lmao. You actually think we can be the first team to ever win a title without an elite defensive big man.

Was Horace Grant an elite defensive big man when the Bulls won championships?

Watch the Heat win a championship this year.

Blurb I found in this ESPN article on Al Horford:

    http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/insider/columns/story?columnist=haberstroh_tom&id=6037167

    [rquoter]
Seventy players in the league -- big and small -- have made at least 70 isolation plays this season. Take a guess how many of those players have a higher efficiency than Horford's 1.1 points per isolation play. Three -- Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Martin and Chauncey Billups. That's it.

Do you watch NBA games? Have you seen how guys like Kobe, Wade, Lebron take over games during clutch and win it for their teams? Have you been watching Amare and Blake this season? How they wear teams down without much help?

Against a good defensive team, what are you supposed to do at the end of a game when 3s and jumpers dont start falling or when they kill ball movement. Dont tell me this doesnt happen? You need more than one way/strategy to wn.

We need someone that can close out games for us. It is that simple. Someone who can draw double teams and still score or create for others in that situation.

Show me how many championship teams there are that have done it all from just ball movement? None, they all had guys that has taken over games at clutch times when things havent been going well for them.

You cant win a a trophy just depending on ball movement through out the whole season. Just like you cant win a title by making ISO plays all the time. But every good team has a go to guy at the end of games - a closer. The better that guy is at closing games the further that team goes.

Miami's big 3 just started playing and are not familiar with each other like Bostons big 3 are. Theere is still a lot of pass it to Wade or LeBron then the other 4 just stand and watch. Their assisted numbers will go up the more they play with each other.

Is it wrong to be upset when your team is out playoff contention, forget about a championship? Is it wrong in wanting to see your team improve? I mean its not like we are in a "if it aint broke then dont fix it" type of state. The reactions are natural for someone who does not want his/her team to settle into medocrity.

Martin is not entirely to blame for this teams struggles and he is the best player on our team indeed. You have to understand - things have changed since Yao is injured. Martin would have been awesome if Yao was still here. Meaning Martin is a complimentary player and not a go to guy. Yao was a go to guy but he is not here anymore and now our main priority is to get a go to guy. I cant see any team winning an NBA championship with Martin being their best player on that team. Maybe if the other 4 guys are just as equally good at their roles like Martin, Naahhh there is still the question of defense. It will never happen.

You have to ask your self - what do you want more? An NBA title or watching Kevin Martin play for the Rockets? I want an NBA championship.

Don't see much point spending life upset over the records of a sports team if you don't have control over it.
