Lowry plays tough but he wouldnt have done anything. If i remember, he did see the fisher on scola and just went up to the refs and pointed. I wish the Rox defended eachother like the clips do with griffin. Last year, anytime somebody touched griffin all 4 other players got in grills.. (dont like griffin btw lol)

I don't think Artest would have fought him though. Maybe chest bumped and got in his face, but Artest did his best that season to show the league he wasn't out of control anymore.

Well. We can never get into the heads of players can we? He might have shrugged it off. He might have been pissed. He might have been thinking anything. All I know is Scola made the classy move.

Who says Love "planned it"? How can you plan a thing like that. But that doesn't mean he wasn't intentional. He saw an opportunity to retaliate (what he thought was a foul at the other end) at an opponent on the floor and he acted on it. To me, even the thought of stepping on someone one the floor should be a no-no for any sportsman.

Under the rules it doesnt matter if you plan it. Whose side are you on? It only matters if it was intentional. Love intentionally decided to follow through on that stomp. Really does not even matter if he apologizes afterwards either.

Bill Worrell calling them a bunch of soft, nice guys ;)

That's where you miss a guy like Ron Artest errr Metta World Peace.

    Scola did the right thing.
Actually, he should've turned god mode [on]
and win the game for us.

    Oh well.

Still under the rules I want the Rockets to get some justice this season. It was a intentional face stomp. I want some suspension action.

I agree Scola didn't do anything wrong. It's not like Love threw a direct punch at him, if he did that then there's no long as debate on the true intentions.

Don't think Lowry can do anything... considering that whole court thing he went through two days ago.

Yes. I'm sure that's on his mind.

Also, no bench clearing because of the Robert Horry rule

Exactly. Someone got a hold of Love and gave him wise counsel.

read the beginning of this thread

Of course it matters. That apology alone softens the stance many have on this...even in this thread you can see it happening. The nba will notice that and it'll be easier for them not to suspend him or for less games. Suspensions aren't good for the league.
