He's good and puts up sick numbers, but he's not someone that you can build around to win a championship. He's not a true post player, who can change the game in multiple ways. He's basically a hustle guy with a solid shooting stroke. I'm sorry, but any big man who shoots like 45-47% from the field isn't an elite big man. He's also pretty awful defensively. All in all, he can put up numbers on a crappy team, but he won't be the first option on a championship contender.

Are YoYo and LlewLLOYD the only posters who read the quote? He is stating the mindset every player should have... Anyways Love has yet to lead his team to the post season.... And to everyone hating on Bosh, he was able to do that in his third year with a team full of nobodies. Love is an amazing player, he's not being arrogant in this post at all, but it's hard for others to dub him the best PF until his team has success.

He shoots three pointers often. His fg% will suffer.

He might be the best under 30.

Hakeem felt he was the best at his position, certainly by the 1990's, but he let his play speak for him. I wish Love had done that.

Best PF in the NBA just went 3/16. Dirk and Timmy will never shoot that badly no matter how old they get.

Dirk plays a totally different (and more limited albeit effective) style. Gasol has the more skills down on the post, but is deathly afraid of it. Bosh is $$$ this year, I don't know why people keep underrating him. KG is old, but still can score on anyone.

Basically, Love is like David Lee on steroids, and yes, he is arguably the best right now.

Didn't Timmy shoot 1-10 against us earlier this season?

Agree that Love is nowhere near the best PF in the league right now.

So Love is flavour of the month now?

Just after Dirk beat the Big 3 everyone was putting him into the conversation of "Best PF ever".

People get too easily excited over his rebound numbers.

Feb 17th 2010, Tim Duncan went 4 for 23 from the field.

March 10th 2010, Dirk went 6 for 16 from the field.

You have been pwned, don't come back to this thread

There's a lot of guys you can tell just barely started watching Love play. I've seen a few people amazed when they saw Love hitting 3's.

If you remember when he was coming out of UCLA-he was known to be the best passing big coming out in years. I can't wait to see how Rick's coaching is going to help Love's game improve. The future is bright for the wolves. Kevin Love will win a championship one day.
