Kevin Looney would be a millionaire if he played with Harden

In a way MDA did it by switching him to the PG position, he averages at least 10 ppg and other stats more.

Looney has a dripping wet baseline jumper too. Capela will never make a jumpshot in his entire career, and Looney may be able to extend his range to the 3 point line.

 

Capela might be better at catching viruses.

Big fan of Looney. Wanted the rockets to target him last offseason with MLE dollars

 

Jerry West is one the best ever at evaluating talent and building basketball teams. He was the reason they knew how to draft. GS actually has been coasting off his work since he left, but they still would be better with him there. I actually don't think Morey The Lakers are idiots for not bringing him back when they had 2 chances. In 2 years he has the Clips taking the Champs to 7 games (with a lot of Moreys guys).

I think Looney has developed more this season than Capela, but he also has a 5 years of NBA championship experience and plays with the best passing team in the NBA. Not nearly the same amount of pressure or attention paid to him as Capela. Teams this year have actually in their strategy said intentionally decided to give Harden the shot to defend a pass to Capela. As far as salary, Looney made more in his first 4 years than Capela did in his. Capela also has been a starter since a rookie and has all around better production and efficiency. Not sure Looney will get a 5 year 90 mil deal like Clint, but he will get a pay raise from somewhere.

Looney out playing Capela in the GSW series certainly was something. It was VERY damning on Clint. Not gonna lie, it really soured me on Clint.

 

He will be picked up by somebody who can offer more than GSW. They screwed up lowballing him for a year. Maybe we should go for him.

Why? The people playing around Looney are different. NBA teams aren't scouting ways to jam up Looney like they are Capela.

Looney is like Capela when we had Dwight, a breath of fresh air that doesn’t have the same responsibilities.

Again, I’m open to moving Capela because it’s been a terrible matchup against GSW switching. However, let’s not cut off our nose to spite our face.

 

Its on coaching, Capela would be ultra efficient and effective on the worriers, Looney would be useless on rockets, probably unplayable vs worriers
