meh...if you don't win it all who cares? I thought you were going to say something eye popping like the most wins by a qb in a any decade like troy aikman. or winning three super bowls in four years like troy aikman. or sb mvp like troy aikman. that's nothing special. NCAA Kevin Kolb > NCAA Donovan McNabb and it's only a matter of time before the young Texan takes over.
In that case, I guess we shouldn't acknowledge any other current QB other than Manning and Brady. McNabb has basically accomplished everything except win a Super Bowl. Like another poster pointed out, winning the NFC and getting to the SB is way more presitigous than winning C-USA and a bowl game. While he didn't win it all, I think it is safe to say that McNabb has been a Top 3 QB in the past decade. NCAA Kevin Kolb > Donovan McNabb?? Kolb was very good but there was a reason why McNabb was the 2nd overall pick... Big East records 1st - touchdown passes (77) 1st - touchdowns responsible for (96) 1st - passing yards (8,389) 1st - total offensive yards (9,950) 1st - total offensive plays (1,403) Even led Syracuse to an Orange Bowl birth vs. Florida. They lost but taking Syracuse to a BCS bowl is a huge accomplishment IMO. I like Kolb a lot and I hope he does awesome in the NFL, but I have no idea where some are getting the idea that Kolb is better than McNabb.
wtf did you watch McNabb in college. The dude was a one man wrecking team, he singlehandedly carried Syracuse to a BCS game. That too this was the Big East when it was still good with Miami and Virginia Tech. I hope Kolb does well but he came from a system built to inflate numbers and a conference that was a joke but is now an even bigger one since the Big East stole the one good team in CUSA (Louisville).
Lost a fumble on a handoff - either he or the tailback didn't know the play, because Kolb tried handing it off as the back was moving to pass block. (Didn't work.)
syracuse played in a bcs bowl against k-state also I believe, but they lost to willis tx product michael bishop.
in high school mcnabb played bball with antoine walker and football with simeon (sp) rice. he also played bball at the cuuuussse
