They just showed the interview on TNT. Anyone catch it? I only saw the end.... him sniffling all the time.
I saw it. They showed tears in his eye and sniffling. Freakin' nuts. He kept doing the "switch the camera off" sign to the camera dude.
That was a GREAT interview! WOW! All I could think of when it was over is that Garnett's teammates must feel DISGUSTED with themselves, that this guy is pouring 200% of himself into this team, and just wants to win at all costs and the rest of those star player on his team arent giving it 100% Ridiculous! I hope the rest of Garnett's teammates saw that interview.
Stephon Marbury does not do it for you? PS. Mc drafted Ndudi Ebi ahead of Josh Howard and Leandro Barbosa.
Wow.....just found out that Minny will not be picking in the 1st round again this June (the last of the Joe Smith purnishment). So since the last 2 Minnesota first round picks are WallyZ (1999) and Ndudi Ebi (2003).
exactly the reason why this guy is my favorite non-rocket player in the nba. he gives it his all night in and night out when I saw the whole interview today I was shocked and developed a new found respect for that man. I do hope they did see that interview and open their eyes up. and i still think stern was way to harsh on minn with the suspension of picks they did what probably every other team in the league tries to do (but they did it with a avg player not a star player) but got caught. so what was it 6 years without a first round pick? that really cripped them man. I hope they trade Ebi the guy looks very talented but may not see any playing time with KG and EG being the first and second options at the pf spot
After watching this interview, it made me realize how great KG truly is... He has millions of dollars in a bank account and is crying... That is Love for the game...
As much as I respect him for his heart, I still think he is not a great leader. I assume the true greats like MJ and Bird care about winning as much as KG, but could you image they would have cried if same situation happened to them? I bet all my money that they would have confronted their scumbag teammates like Spree and Cassell in the lockroom, blasted them for not playing hard, and given them a bloody lesson which they would remember forever. And then, they would have gone all up to the management, got in their faces, demanded them to trade anyone who dared not play hard! (Kevin McHale basically did nothing so far except put himself to the coach position). I heard KG is tough for rookies but tissue soft for veterans. He could do better.
I've met Kevin Garnett a few times and he's a really classy guy. One of the few players that always recognized me and greeted me. He always addressed me as "My man." He's an amazing basketball player and a really humble and friendly guy off the court. What more can you ask for? I hope that guy wins a championship before his career is over.
One of my friends from Japan has a friend living in Tokyo. He was chillin' with Garnett during the Tokyo games. They met up and smoked up and chilled. He says he's cool to hang with.
KG is looking really old on TV. I like this guy. Shows some emotion in interview and even dared to call himself a loser in front of the media.
would it really surprise you? pot is not some debilitating drug that will cripple you. a little pot now-and-then would not diminish his skills in the least.
