POP! "You always give Dream his change." Real Rockets fans know what I'm talkin about. Bonus points for anyone knows who Dream hit. Nuggets4: what did KG do during the Nuggets series?
No matter what the situation, KG shouldn't have hit the guy. He's a professional, he should act like one. But, this had to have been provoked. The rook must have said or done something throughout the course of the workout and KG let it get to him or maybe just got frustrated.
I know about the Akeem/Whopper fight. That's not what Kim is talking about (or at least, I don't think it is). There was an incident in practice, where a teamate of Dream's didn't give him his change and Dream clocked him and uttered the phrase in question. I believe that teamate is Dave Feitl.
It's kind of odd when you look at the entire situation. Wally's never liked him, Marbury, Gugliotta, and Rasho all wanted out. Peeler's supposedly the guy's best friend and he tries to KO KG in the playoffs. KG seems to be all hype the more and more, as a player and now as a teammate.
KG needs to grow up and be a leader, you don't lead by hitting rookies.... He needs to realize that his time of jawing back and forth is over.... Of course he can keep it up and constantly finish behind our Rockets..that would be ok too. DD
I can't remember where i got it from but i heard that Garnett does not treat rookies that well (always giving them a hard time). Maybe it was because players gave him a hard time as well when he was a rookie.. KG being the player who got drafted straight out of high school, which must've been rare back then. Or maybe i'm wrong and he's not like that.
Thats the newest according to Real GM. His egotistical attitude is what is ruining the NBA. He is a complete dick and will never when an NBA championship with that kind of attitude. I am pretty surprised that Hakeem did anything like that, but that must have been before he decided to become a devout Muslim.
As far as this quote is concerned, I don't think that because somebody becomes an MVP that it means that you can treat other people like $#!|. Simply put Garnett is an @$$0.
i've heard that KG does a lot of good things for Minneapolis and i thought he was suppose to be a nice guy. i don't know the whole story but decking a guy is not usually justifiable unless the guy tried hurting kg. regarding the comment about guys with bad attitudes not winning a championship... it doesn't matter. kg could be the biggest prick in the world but he's still one of the best players in the league.
