Per wojo Thunder, Warriors, Heat, Spurs, Clippers, and Celtics. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/source...e-164954322.html?soc_src=social-sh&soc_trk=tw
CF: "Duuhh, he obviously doesn't have to meet with the Rockets because it's already a done deal. Harden brought all the papers and contract with him when he and KD were out bowling."
CP3 Reddick Durant Griffin Jordan That looks like a good team for the Clippers but they probly have to get rid of some people.
True, would be a great team. Or: Dragic/Udrih Wade/Johnson Durant/Winslow Bosh/Stoudemire/Deng Whiteside Not too shabby. Or a more aggressive small-ball style if Bosh has to retire (Dragic-Wade-Winslow-Durant-Whiteside).
Yeah ok consider the Celtics who are slated to be in the lottery again and Miami who has old players and might end up losing Whiteside but don't consider the rox? Makes total sense I highly doubt Rockets would be excluded from even just a meeting if you're taking recruitment pitches and you consider lottery teams like the Celtics without any actual stars on the team why wouldn't you hear a pitch from the team your best buddy is staying at? Even Lebron and Bosh heard a pitch from the Rockets and they already intended to play in Miami together lmao
I agree. This is all smoke and mirrors. I'm sure Harden and Durant had a good talk and they have a plan to make it happen. In the end I think Durant is coming to the Rockets.
HEAT has a bunch of old players; Spurs' team style of play doesn't fit him; Clippers is good but Warriors is more attractive; Celtics got nobody.
I view this as an opportunity to not waste time on Durant. The Rockets have work to do and come July 10th or so I expect a significantly better team . One that resembles something of a contender. I am optimistic amidst all the super teams being formed because of our cap situation. If we don't make moves now, Harden will notice... which does it scare me a bit because who knows what Harden might do in a few years... Scary to think he could leave... Point being... DM and the Rockets have to move on from Durant and pursue guys who have star quality or are all-star quality. We have to start showing Harden that this franchise is worth staying at. OKC had it good for 5 years and now look at what might be. Enjoy it while you can. I don't want this franchise becoming irrelevant again...
Harden is going to completely go mental this season, one snub after another. He's gotta be hella pissed we don't even get an interview.
All these teams, yes including Celtics, can beat the Rockets in a seven games series. The rockets should be the lottery team Durant excludes. Sad but true.
