If we had 5 players on this team better than KD, we likely would’ve won in the high 70s and would sweep okc/boston pretty easily.

If we can't grab Harden or Steph, KD is probably the only other guy I would trade for. No to Booker and Giannis

I think Amen / Green / KD / Jabari / Sengun could do some damage. Thats a big line up with shooters. Cam, Tari, Reed, Adams off the bench. Maybe go get Ty Jerome as back up point. I think that would be better than running back with Fred...

Suns had 0 players better than durant, in your example we would have 5. Idk how familiar you are with basketball but it’s a team sport, not individual. Outside of Jokic, nobody can win by themselves. They went 3-17 in the 20 games durant missed.

Nope, you aren't thinking about team fit.....Durant in Houston would be a sniper, but he doesn't play defense - IMHO, he would come off the bench as the 6th man ....

DD, Kevin Durant's defense has actually been pretty good. Not sure where you're getting that information.

Durant also does play pretty decent defense. 2.0 stocks per game. 6 rebounds per game (primarily def. Rebs). He is not what he once was, but he is not a bad defensive player. It’s not a bad point to think our defense would not be as good in the starting unit, since he would be replacing Dillon, but his length alone with Amen and Jabari’s would absolutely cause spacing problems for opposing teams.

No it hasn't I have been watching him stand in a corner for the last 6 months, he barely moves, now he makes buckets but his D, especially his help D is non- existent....he is not the answer at 35 years old to the question of making us a contender. Unless he is cheap...picks and like FVV etc....no young ones.

If you're worried about held defense, why wouldn't you want him to replace brooks? Brooks is maybe the worst held defender/rim protector in the league short of a trae young type. KD is a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better help defender than brooks is.

There is a 0% chance KD comes off the bench next year if we trade for him.

All depends on the price.... We can certainly take on a Durant level contract with our core starting their second contracts and some still on the first. We also need to consolidate some players because we just don't have the playing time.

if anyone still thinks we don’t need a player like KD, especially when he’ll be relatively cheap to acquire, they’re on crack and other hard drugs

we need a #1 option and guy u can give the ball to out on the perimeter…it’s glaringly obvious

If Jimmy Butthurt can be a closer bumbling around like an arthritic hip 80 year old man, imagine what KD can still do
