It depresses me that the people who defend this always use the logic of "they would do the same thing".
I'm not just calling them a super team because I want to, they were indeed a superteam. 3 mvps on team, its a fact OKC was a super team. OKC itself was a cheat, the team bottomed out all its roster to start fresh aka they deliberately tanked the first 6 years to keep collecting top picks. Its not hard to build a dynasty if you pick in the top 5 for 6 years straight look at Minny, Philly, GSW, Utah etc. unless you keep picking busts like Cleveland you are eventually gonna end up with a good team. The reason they didn't have a ring is because Presti broke them apart. Lebron team in Miami only lasted for 4 years, they could have easily passed that small window and collected rings if Presti kept all of them together. Then again GSW was gonna rise up after that so if it wasn't Miami some other team was gonna stand in their way.
Think about it, Durant, Westbrook, and Harden were all on the same team. OKC has to be the stupidest of all NFL operations.
Or trading Westbrook for CP3? You could run our offense now but with Durant. Or trading WB for a season of Dwight Howard?
would it depress you more if you knew that over 90% of people if living in nazi germany would be nazis? It's really just human nature for most people to not go the contrarian, or path of least resistance.
