I don't see a Suns trade. I don't see Booker leaving Phoenix and Ayton isn't enough unless it's a sign and trade with maybe Cam Johnson added in. The Suns are high on Johnson, however, and I doubt that Johnson wants to play in Brooklyn. Someone would have to replace Booker at SG and there's no one on the roster that fits the bill. Weird to think of Durant at PF and Bridges at SF too. I don't see anyone in Miami that the Nets would even want. A trade that really would make sense is Kawhi Leonard and KD. Send the grumbling snow birds to their own separate hells.
The speculation is Ayton on a S&T, Bridges or Johnson, and picks. Probably not absolute best package they could get, but it might be the best package from one of Durant’s “preferred” destinations.
Sixers can exhaust all they want. They don’t have the goods to get Durant, unless Embid wants to go to the Nets. So many idiots fishing for clicks.
Chris Paul is not gonna put up with Kevin Durant's **** and vice versa. That would last for a year before Durant requests another trade.
Playerwise they have the best individual asset out of all the potential teams in Maxey but the Phili offer wouldn't even sniff Ayton, Bridges, Johnson and picks.
It's the picks though. Unlike most other possible Durant spots - Phx owns EVERY single one of its own future draft picks it could possibly own. That alone gives them a big advantage IMO.
Nets aren't going to trade KD for a bunch of picks plus salary filler, they are going to go for the Rocket's pre Harden era special. Still a win win for the Rockets.
Paul tends to grate on his teammates over time seems like. That's one reason Ayton is on his way out. It's a personality clash waiting to happen and we know Durant isn't the "stick it out and work through it" type.
Not sure if you’re saying he isn’t a hard worker or not but he’s definitely one of the hardest workers in the league. He also sticks by his teammates over management.
Those late firsts arent appealing. Send him to SAC or ORL and get some lottery picks. Then durant can force his way out from there.
The Sixers can theoretically offer a very competitive package of Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey for Durant. They wouldn't need to attach too many picks for this, because Tyrese Maxey alone is worth quite a few unprotected FRPs.
Cf’s and their silly assumptions. Ayton wants out because he wants max money, which phx has already made it known they will not give him. It’s that simple.
