I love Durant, he's a great player, he's loyal to his team, he's competitive, but not like a jerk. Never gets in trouble, we need more players like him.

He seems to have a "Rocket" type attitude, I wish he could play with us somehow.

I know, I know, keep dreaming. I hope the Thunder have a great year. (not too great though for the Rockets sake)

    :D

The healthy T-Mac. Not the one-legged fraud he is today.

That's funny. Tracy might suck now, but in his Orlando days.. his offensive abilities especially were better than Kobe's at the time...

He's right about Miami but I have only heard one person say they want to go play for the Lakers.

Except Durant shoots a higher percentage and gets to the line more.

His Thunder is becoming increasingly like the Heat, lol. Now KD's on max contract. Next year Russel Westbrook will be too. Jeff Green looks just as good as Bosh but younger. James Harden's just a rookie but got great potential too, who knows what these two will become in a year or two's time.

Two to three max players + quality support cast = win.
(Rox 04-07 had two max players in T-Mac and Yao, but the role players were ****ty; after DM took over in 07, support cast has been great but we were either missing Yao OR T-Mac or both. So now with Yao back, we'd NEED at least one more all-star caliber player to seriously contend with these other stacked teams)

Mac's prolly got tired of playing after all this time in the league, and he got no motivation or heart to push himself harder & make himself better after those 2 scoring champs like Kobe always does.

That's why although back then Mac might have looked better, he's in a train wreck right now and Kobe's going for his second 3peat.

I promise you Jeff Green and James Harden won't get anything near max contracts except in their dreams. Green will never touch Bosh.

that's untrue (for now). durant is just as good of a scorer as tmac was in his prime, but his all-around game is lacking (hence why he struggled so badly in the playoffs).

he has very little playmaking capabilities so if he doesn't score offensively, he's going to be very quiet (and hence why westbrook sometimes is the thunder's go-to guy).

but he will be a better scorer than tmac ever was, plus defense.

Durant seems determined to make OKC relevant. Pretty refreshing attitude given the last month. Seems like the student is quickly becoming the master. *gong*
