Lebron's first stint with CLE was 7 years; Durant's spent 9 years with OKC. Until now, neither had ever requested a trade or asked out - they simply used free agency to go where they wanted to go, which is the right of the player. People will find literally anything to complain about.
I saw Jay Will say that exact thing about KD today, Jay Will another LeBron homer of course...he basically tried to complement KD as being a "mercenary" because he has no home. Basketball is his home! But, it was a clever, snake in the grass Lebron fan way of trying to further an insecure gap between LeBron and KD. LeBron is equally as much a mercenary as KD has become...and KD became one just to keep up with the best mercenary of all time.
Durant isn't as great as LBJ but in my books still a Top 3 talent in his prime. He is a typical sensitive semi Beta. I agree his legacy would be way different if he were a leader. He isn't, that is cool also.
I see LBJ as a glorified nomad with a home. I am from Akron, I brought a title to Ohio but I am still moving on.
He is a beta. He only interested in overwhelming talent gaps. This trade is almost as bad as going to Golden State Rocket River
You will see it in the future, maybe not from the European superstars who are wired differently. Times are changing....not necessarily to the better. If you are alluding to Lebron, he actually still cares at 38. It is different than starting Twitter wars with your former team mate Perkins.
I don't know man........ he is 34 years old and still drop an efficient 30 a night. He also has drastically improved as a defender, at this point he is a good defender. For his CAREER he has averaged 30 points a game in the playoffs. If I am going to be honest, I think that career-wise he is under-rated. I think he has been the overall best player in the NBA the last 7-8 years...... if LBJ has been better, it is really close. He still may be the best closer in the league right now in his early 30's.
I'm not familiar with Twitter, but i clicked that link and i saw Jalen Green comment saying "Jalen Green would never" What does that mean?
I see skip and shannon talk about how hard LeBron has had it dealing with Russ and how it's sucked out his high iq soul for bball. That's how detrimental Westbrook has been to LeBron....But, for KD, he just couldn't get it done with Russ? He was always a black hole and KD dealt with it a lot longer during more important years.
Weird comment from someone who started a thread on a message board to whine about some random guy. At least when KD does it, he's misguidedly trying to defend himself.
Objectively, KD is shooting a career high FG% this year, even with all the team instability. That can go with being a good closer. He's quietly been a better distributer 2nd half his career. OKC years he's around 3 assists/gm. Been a respectable 5.5 assists after, around Giannis level without the ball hogging. Unlike say, Harden & Westbrook, KD hasnt had noticable decline in his game through any injury or team scheme. He was the main reason the US team even won a hard fought gold medal. Yeah he hasnt had a pretty legacy, but he's still been a top 5 safe bet
I have never used twitter and have no need to. Nothing weird about it dude other than once again tissue soft Durant can’t handle any type of criticism. When you state facts, it can hardly be considered whining but you keep believing what you want to believe.
