Grade 2. How long will that keep him out?

Is that the same injury as Capela? For frame of reference, he was out about 5 weeks.

Clint Capela was a fibula issue.

But let's reevaluate him and see probably means 5 weeks or so if he doesn't have any issues.

Great. That's just enough time for the Spurs to pass them up in the standings, which means the Rockets get a healthy Warriors team in the 2nd round...... not the WCF. Houston gets screwed again.

Just like Josh Smith colliding with Dwight Howard's knee in the playoffs. DH's mcl was reportedly torn though

A grade 2 MCL sprain is a month at the most. Curry got a grade 2 MCL sprain when he slipped in the Toyota Center last year. The MCL can repair itself also.

Warriors got a light closing schedule. I expect them to keep the top seed.

    Meh, back in a month.

Poor Warriors will meanwhile have to get by with three other all-stars. Please keep them in your prayers.

Golden State's final game in the regular season is exactly 6 weeks from today. Right now, it sounds like one of those 4-6 week windows where he'll be out. One problem this could create for the Warriors even if Durant does return in a month is that San Antonio now has an outside shot at that first seed.

So is Durant's. A sprain is the result of light tearing

We'll see. They have to play the Spurs and Rockets twice this month as well as games against Memphis, Boston, at OKC, and at Atlanta. Durant likely misses every one of those unless he's back in less than 4 weeks.

KD is rumored to be out at least 4 weeks and maybe 6. It definitely opens the door for the Spurs and Rockets. That being said Rockets have got to add some size. Sullinger, Sanders, and Scola are all available. I'd like for us to get at least two of them.
