    If this happened early in the season, their chances would be better. There are only 22 games left after this massive gut punch.

    "What could have been" will echo in their minds each time they take the floor. They don't have enough time to pick up the pieces and rebuild everything they do on offense and defense. KD is/was their MVP.

    Anything can happen but a 2nd round loss is very likely IMO.

    I know it's just your opinion, but you usually have really good input on injuries and such. What makes you believe it's an ACL? It didn't look that bad to me.

    Seems strange that the Warriors know the results already, but are waiting until tomorrow to announce it. Is this protocol? When did they announce the Curry injury in the playoffs - day of or day after?

    They don't know the severity of the injury, but they do know that if he's out for a few months, their season is in jeopardy. They're not gonna win the title without Durant.

    I could be wrong, but I'm under the impression they've done the MRI. An MRI takes like 30 min. How many times have you seen a player go out during a game, only to hear 'MRI negative' a quarter later?

    Just a guess.. These can be tricky because some acl injuries don't look that bad...but it seemed to me that lower leg got taken out at the knee more than the upper leg

    Because, as an athlete..you know you're body. Team docs have seen it all....usually have a pretty darn good idea what the score is. At this point, the MRI is usually just confirmation. The fact that the mood is funereal in the locker room speaks volumes.
