    LOL, my first thought too.

Of course it's a joke. But the whole situation is ironic, isn't it.

I knew it as soon as he left.

I'm shocked that so many people bought the "tired" theory.

Imagine if Durant had suffered his broken foot during Team USA activity.

One injury to a superstar playing for Team USA can be written off but two? I think that would have been the end of NBA superstars playing for team USA for quite a while.

None story...he has every right to be spooked. It was one of the more gruesome injuries anyone has ever seen. So what? He's not property; he made a choice to preserve his body for the season, because a championship is more important than an Olympic qualifier. He getting hurt is not karma, it's just bad luck. All of sudden he's a bad person?.....people demonize anyone they don't agree with.

    Does he have small feet?
Or maybe awkward foot, bone structure?

Because no way at his weight should he be having foot injuries, especially stress fractures.

Of course weight is a factor but over training can also lead to stress fractures. More than likely considering its durant.

He left the team right after Paul's horrific injury. Did anyone really think he was not influenced by it? IMHO, I thought that went without saying.
