Name one unquestionably positive thing this administration has done for us. Just one.

It'll be telling how many people answer: "Well, he killed a lot of Arabs."

I think with the climbing national debt, deficit, and more govt. waste(intrest on the debt) caused by those, it wouldn't fall into the unquestionably good category. I'm sure it does for some people. But not the whole country.

You mean the tax cuts that plowed our government into a *massive* debt that our kids, grandkids and great-grandkids will have to repay? Or the tax cuts that were supposed to create 5.5 million jobs but created less than half that?

Didn't help me at all. As a result of the tax cuts, my insurance has gone up, my benefits have been reduced, my pay has been reduced, my tuition costs have gone up and all of that FAR outweighs the $100 or so in "tax relief" that I got.

Add to that the deleterious effects that the massive deficits we have will cause and the tax cuts look worse and worse all the time.

The ONLY thing that Bush has done that I think WAS positive was the invasion of Afghanistan. Even that positive has been overturned since we pulled our troops to go to Iraq and stopped the reconstruction we promised the Afghans TWICE now.

But you will admit that Kerry's speech at the DNC did actually talk about his plans, etc.?

Tax cuts= increased insurance.... Lemme 'splain something to you: if you pay more taxes, ding....ding....ding, you are entitled to a bigger tax cut! What is so hard to understand about that? The budget deficit, while not my preferred way of fiscal management, will NOT affect you personally. And Andy, we are rebuilding Afghanistan! The ever-so-pathetic bleatings of your side are becoming more hilarious by the day.

As for Kerry/Edwards' midnight madness rally, sniff, sniff, I smell the scent of desperation. And desperation is a stinky cologne. I'm going to warn all you lefties, I'm going enjoy gloating for a while if there is a landslide victory for Bush. I'm going to enjoy every single second of it and I'm going to get an even bigger laugh out of the ever-crazier conspiracy theories you try to pin on that man.

That would probably fall under the category of neutral in terms of actions of an adminstration, because that is the bare minimum we expect in terms of protection.

So I guess the scale would go like this:
Bad (9/11)<-----------Neutral (no terrorism)--------->Good (capturing Bin Laden)

Wow, any *more* jets flying into buildings.

Bush didn't stop the worst terrorist attack in American history, and you're giving him credit for only allowing it to happen *once*?

And you're claiming it to be the administration's top achievement. That's a pretty freaking low bar.

That's right. Osama didn't exist before Bush took office. I stand corrected.

No, mine has gone up. And my doctor's malpractice insurance hasn't gone down. I asked him.

Bama doesn't uinderstand the connection between shifting the tax burden from point A to point B to point C, so that the ones running for office on A and B can claim to have "cut taxes." Taxes haven't been cut for the middle class. Not in Texas. They have been moved around and have gone up. And that's a fact, jack.
