Is there going to be some kind of cf.net football game in November or something? Who else is playing on Batman's side?

The Republicans showed that they can read and understand polls. Given that Clinton's approval rate kept going up during Monica-gate, Republicans did not want to commit political suicide by booting Clinton. BTW, the same can be said about the Democrats not going after Reagan on Iran Contra.

it'd be nice if you didn't post press blurbs from kerry's site and try to pass them off as your own work.

it'd be nice if you didn't assume

go ahead, find where this came from Kerry's site.

I'll save you the trouble, it didn't.

It came from 3 seperate articles, some written 10+ years ago

Are you disputing the facts of it?

No. He is referring to the United States Presidential election that will be taking place in November.

Unless it's bashing Clinton or the Democratic nominee, um, no, substance doesn't matter...

I was wondering about the "you guys" thing also. I took it to mean "you Americans who are not me."

But then, this whole frat-type of forming teams for real world discussions (e.g. bama, Jorge, American History) is kind of over my head. Any cultural anthropologists on the board?

RM95: thanks, got it. Part of the whole "team" thing.

I'd pay good money to see this board for one day under the same exact situation (bad intel, troops dying, no jobs, etc.) but with Clinton as President.

We'd be discussing the pending impeachment proceedings, I'd guess.

Interesting to think about that (though kind of scary).

I defended Slick Willy, mildly, in the face of the absurd Starr investigation and the much hyped whitewater investigation.

But I tell y'all honestly: I'd be just as upset about preemptive war, fear mongering, deficit spending, massive tax cuts (well, my bracket dropped 2%, by the way, ... whoop-de-damn-do), and misleading America into casualties and international hatred with any president. If a dem was doing this crap, I would be voting for someone else, republican or independent.

so you're admitting you didn't write it?

no i'm not disputing it's veracity, but it does read as if the writer, whoever he/she was, was blowing air up kerry's skirt.

chump- it'd be like my writing

"the challenge for Democrats is to avoid talking about the progress the administration has made in meeting threats they haven't the foggiest idea about how to handle" and trying to pass the words off as my own. why not credit your source?

I would be as well. I defended Clinton ad nauseum here during the impeachment proceedings, but now, looking back on it, I wish I hadn't. I almost hate to admit that because some people on here (giddyup and DaDakota, I'm looking at you! :) ) would argue that it means I'm getting more conservative as I age, which certainly isn't the case. It's just after five years of retrospection, I've kinda changed my mind about the whole thing a little bit.

Yes, I think BOTH sides would have exact opposite opinions.

Come to think of it, I'd pay good money to see a D&D football game like rimbaud said. I could see T_J and SamFisher going "Deion Sanders/Andre Rison" away from the ball on the first play of the game. :D

Actually, it would be more like Terrell Owens (me) / Aaron Glenn (Sam). My size, strength and athleticism were unmatched in the CC.Net basketball game. I expect nothing but the same when paired against a newly-minted lawyer working long hours while living in NYC.

if you'd like sources, i will hunt down the articles
no, I didn't write it, I only combined and parapharsed from multiple sources, I didn't think anyone would doubt the substance as it is all a matter of public record Kerry's role in the investigation, his trips to C.America and bringing the light of day on to the conspiracy.

I understand why'd ya say that, its language is 100% positive, but then again, what Kerry (as well as others on both sides of the aisle) did to uncover Reagan-North scam was 100% positive for the country, as uncovering any illegal activity by our government is.

I will site any and all material that is not 100% my own from now on, that cool?
