If last night is any indication of Brees, he sucks. Wow.

Sometimes it seems to take a season for the effects of coach leaving to be felt fully. Maybe Haslett deserved some credit for last season.

I haven't been able to see VY play since the Rose Bowl, but if last night was any indication the concerns about his throwing seem way over stated. From what I saw (first half only) he was accurate and could really launch the ball. He looked way better than Matt Leinert against the Ravens on Sunday.

i love VY..but that might have to do with the fact leinert was facing the ravens defense and and VY was facing the Saints' defense. :)

Maybe he's reverting back to form. Brees was very mediocre and wasn't developing, which is why the Chargers ended up with Phillip Rivers. The pressure from Rivers might be why Brees picked up his play so much his last 2 years in San Diego. Of course, last season the guy was great. Maybe he's decided to relax some and is reverting back to old habits. The Saints offense is totally dependent on his decision-making and accurate throwing.

My guess is Brees will pull it together eventually.

I don't know. Mark Warner didn't have any problem picking them apart.

VY looked good throwing the ball, last night. He got at least two first downs with his legs. It was the best I've seen him as a pro and it was very much like a UT game.

the Ravens defense isn't as good as it was before. lots of injuries and age.
Yeah, they didn't sit VY cause he was doing bad, he got banged up, then he came back in. Leinart just sucked, so they put in Warner. who dropped a couple TDs on that Raven's D.

The biggest play no one seems to be talking about: The Saints took a 14-10 lead midway through the third quarter on a 1-yard touchdown run. On the ensuing kickoff, rookie Michael Griffin had a 48-yard return. Young led the Texans on a 9-play, 57-yard drive capped by LenDale White's 1-yard touchdown run. The Texans didn't have a great day on the ground, but White and Brown both looked solid on that drive. White's bruising 8-yard run on third-and-4 was the highlight. ;)

the titans have an identity. the defensive line was downright scary. did you see the way haynesworth absolutely moved an offisive lineman out of his way. bush wasn't the only saint that got tired of the hits. the titans wore them out.

Vince didn't do bad against them last year and almost beat them. Vince is also better this year and the Ravens defense isn't.

To everyone that says Brees sucks:

Guys, it is sitting right there in front of you. Like a beach ball hovering over the volleyball net waiting to get spiked.

    Brees does not suck.

    Brees blows.

Actually, I happen to like Sean Payton, although I do question the bomb on 4th and 1 early in the game from his own 40 yard line. Payton's got a bright future, but his team just isnt' that good.
