Speaking of NOrleans. I can't wait to see the ROX monkey rape them and the Bobcats. Man, those teams(and I use that term loosely), celebrated a "championship" each time they beat the injury plagued Rockets. Though I think the Shiiitcats might have beat the rox with tmac and Yao off a b2b, but I am not sure

    Spins what?

We are lottery bound this season...no doubt. It will only be for one season though and we will pick up a future star in the lottery like you guys....errr...nm. ;)

    Gotta appreciate your humbleness, X.

Meanwhile, I wonder if you have considered updating your sig. :)

We'll be glad to give up Juwan Howard for Mike Miller and your lottery pick next season.

Wow, I can't believe that Kerr actually said something positive about the Rockets.

Kerr is an idiot and he's just trying to put this fodder out about the Rockets so that we they do explode and the bright lights are there...he can say, "I told you so" about them. I love for everyone to not expect much from them and keep us below the radar so that the element of surprise will be there...but only for a few weeks until they knock off some of the elite teams out west i.e. Phx, SA, Mavs, Den, LAL, etc.

They were fairly close last yr and there is no question that NO upgraded through free agency and the draft. Dont sleep on David West. He was clutch and would start for us. I wouldnt be surprised at all if they made the playoffs.

I can definitely see this season having us and the mavs (suck) and spurs (suck) with 50 wins again...I think we're built for a great year...

I don't know if we'll be great, but we will definitely be competitive.

He's already begun his spin job. His new spin is that they are tanking this whole year to get Oden, and that with Oden, Pau, and Gay, they will be unstoppable in the future. Shades of the Spurs tanking to get Timmy?

It is not spin. What would Rocket fans be predicting if Yao was out until mid january. It is not a tank job, it is positioning.

Nice to get props from Kerr, but this article makes no sense. Since when does it matter what division you're in? Sure, division winners get automatic playoff berths, but they no longer get seeded according to who wins, and every team in the West plays every other team in the West the same number of times (well, it may not be 100% exact anymore but is extremely extremely close).

I don't understand what the divisional re-alignment had to do with Memphis' current predicament?

Did he write a while ago that even with Bozi, Rockets are still not good enoough to be in the top4 in the west. What made him to change his mind?

How many years of positioning is it going to take to win ONE playoff game?

So far the only position Memphis has ever assumed in playoffs is the bent-over-receiving-it kind.

Get rid of Pau already. He is mentally weak. :p

i don't think its really props from kerr

he basically put us ahead of memphis which is obvious

and put us at the same level as new orleans which is stupid

its not like he put us in the same league as SA and mags

Stro at one time had a dunk on Yao which was similarly, if not more, spectacular.

When it's all said and done, Stro is now in good company with Gasol.
