He's out of the doghouse for now...guess he's in the outhouse ? also KJ is so much better than Nwaba/House in my opinion
The reason the offense seems to flow better when Brooks or KJ is in is because they play within there ability meaning other r players in this squad try to do too much or more than you want them too like House, Wood, even KPJ. Sometimes Tate KJ does exactly what he’s suppose to. Take the open shot, cut to the basket, clean up the boards. He’s not trying to dribble more than he should it create for other. Same with Brook. They keep things simple. I wish more players did that on this team
Eric Gordon is the only veteran playing well. Must Trade them, don't fit the Rockets style of play Danuel House David Nwaba Daniel Theis John Wall
To be fair though, with Wall on the pine EG is probably our actual best player right now, I'll definitely be sad to see him leave when he does. Great Rocket.
Daniel Theis with a Toe Injury, I was curious as to why Daniel wasn't running on Fast Breaks. Should've started Alperen many games ago, don't know why Daniel was hiding this injury.
Rockets need more Athleticism at Backup Center and a Young Pure Point Guard, Small Forwards that are 6'8 - 3 and D I wish the Rockets drafted Sharife Cooper. Just to add to the young group.
After these games against the Lakers, KJ should get at least all of House/Nawaba’s minutes moving forward.
KMJ is not the defender Nwaba is, KJM has nice timing on blocks but his perimeter D is lacking at this point in his career. Nwaba is one of the best defenders in the league, very few people can match up strength / quickness wise with guys like WB/LBJ like Nwaba can.
He’s young - he just needs to get alittle stronger, as all our younger players just get bumped off when playing good D…..
In one of the pre-game interviews (I think), he seemed to be hinting at defense may have been an issue with KJM, but of course he didn't come right out and say it. It could also just be me reading too much into it. He makes spectacular blocks on 7-footers, but maybe missing switches, assignments, etc.? No idea. Obviously there's a reason. With Sengun, some of it has to be that Sengun was looking gassed after a few minutes of play early in the season and seemed foul-prone. I never was sure with KMJ.
