Really? Why? Bazemore and Horford* or Gordon and Anderson You think Bazemore and Horford would have done well in the MDA system? I don't think so. Baze can't create his own shot he is a more expensive KJ IMO.
Just now when I remembered we were trying to get Baze and horford and I found an interesting parallel . We ended up signing Gordon and Anderson . Both sets of players had already been teammates and had prior chemistry . Just a bit of Moreys strategy in trying to increase chemistry , thought it was pretty inventive .
Yeah I read that. You have seen what Gordon is contributing and you still said you would rather have Bazermore than Gordon. Bazemore at any price is still trash right now..
first - not even a month of basketball. barely a week. kent isnt gonna shoot 33% for the season. that team has a long way to go to adjust their new roster. eg having freak injuries every year makes him injury prone. its not just two years of freak injuries. he's been missing tons of games since his rookie year. in the shortened lockout year he only played 9 games! he has great talent but his body cant keep up kent is a nice 3d player that can only get better. i'd have him backup both wing spots playing around 25mpg. our 3d guy ariza played superstar minutes b2b seasons. underrated problem for this team. i dunno how how his body holds up at his age. maybe cuz we didnt play defense last season so he didnt have to go hard every game.
Why is bazemore playing 25 mpg though? Scoring? Passing? He certainly doesn't have the defense necessary.
I wonder what a young Ariza would make in this new NBA market? He was a bargain at 8 before the cap increases.
he plays over half the game but not 30. i want him to go all out and be an energy guy off the bench. like bev, he's better that way than preserviing his energy for 35mpg when his impact on the game isnt that high to begin with. between him and eg at a fair price, i'd choose kent.
I think Ariza at his prime is still better than Bazemore right now, prime Ariza's market value is definitely at 15M which is what Bazemore makes now but as we saw when we first signed Ariza he isn't that good, true value is probably at 10-12M or so.
LOL wut? Eric Gordon when healthy is an all star caliber player, not only is he better than Bazemore if we had signed Bazemore in the offseason Bazemore wouldn't see any PT because he's been bricking all his shots. I think Bazemore spent all his time partying once he got his contract because right now it's like he forgot how to shoot.
one of the nicest guys in the league IMO. he would of been a great asset to have if you don't think of the cost. fournier is the one i wish somehow we could of got tho
This guy is a scrub and they were offering him EIGHTEEN MILLION! They followed it up by signing Ryan Anderson for $20M so...
I don't know why Baze chose Atlanta, but there's nothing wrong with repping the city you signed with. He may have declared some reasons, but that doesn't make it true. It personally gave me some fuel to dislike the man, but Atlanta is a great city, why not rep it. It doesn't ACTUALLY mean Houston is worse. In so many ways it's better, but who knows, maybe he despises humidity. P.S. Howard sux, GEAUX ROX!!!
