baze could possibly be a good fit with harden, but he doesn't move the needle for a 41-win team with just one shot creator and no rebounder. and for $17M - $20M per, morey's drunk.

 

If he's a part of us landing Horford then sure screw it.

But really, Bazemore at 15 is already overpay with the new salary cap, and even with next years salary cap(I think a fair deal would be 12-14, he is being quite overrated by many right now). I wouldn't want him at 17.5 if we didn't get Horford with him. Rather just give out some one year deals to vets then overpay on long term deals without landing a top free agent.

I would imagine there might be some sort of sign-and-trade involved.....if there is a deal to be made (Ariza? Dwight, too, if Horford insists on coming here, who knows?)

A lot of this jibes with what Codman was telling us awhile back (two Birds).

Bazemore was supposedly originally going to meet with teams starting a little later in the weekend, once the free agency orgasm had already occurred. But we jumped in there first.

Let's see how meetings go with Big Al Horford, too.

 

What's the difference between him and ariza?

 

Hell cost at least twice as much

 

Bazemore is 3 years younger - 27, he's smaller at 6'5 200, and biggest difference is that Bazemore legitimately has NEXT level athleticism, super quick and ridiculous hops that will leave you in awe on some of his dunks/blocks/layups. Both solid defenders, both have solid but streaky 3pt shots.

Also Bazemore looks like a better finisher on drives/layups but I haven't compared there shot charts yet.

Ariza is a SF/PF

Bazemore is a SG/SF

 

What other teams are chasing Bazemore? Only other team I've seen reported has been the Lakers but I figure some of the teams going after Batum might go after Kent as plan B (looking at you Dallas)
