Kenny told him that he hasnt been to a playoff game in 600 games and it offended Shareef cause its over 700 games.
    Shareef called him 'dog'.

of all the guys over the past couple of years we let go, i wish we had HIM back the most. even more than mobley, because we need a guy at PF alongside yao that is TOUGH, can rebound and score at a good percentage. he is the type of player that is needed in this frontcourt BADLY. i know he's a little undersized at 6'7, 6'8 but i love the way he plays.

The guy gets his first career triple-double and now he is the greatest ex-Rocket player in history.

    a few things:

    1. kenny thomas is indeed a solid player

    2. the triple double is great, but he was abusing luke walton. plus, he even finished a spin move to the basket, which heretofore was thought to be an impossibility, so you know it was his night.

    3. kenny may be better than any pf we've had in a while, but i'm not sure we wanna be paying him $8M or $10M or whatever he makes. we don't really wanna pay either of our power forwards what they're making either, but no need to add on.

Never liked the guy, never was a team player (which is sort of a must if you're a perennial role player in this league).

    Good riddance.

Also, the guy is extremely overpaid, and you thought JHoward had a bad contract? His value makes him twice the player KT is.

    Bump.

KT has been on a tear since this thread died down. In the last 19 games, he's averaged 11.4 pts/10.8 rebs. SAR has been relegated to role player status.

    Where are the haters now?

Classic SAR move here stepping aside (until his broken jaw is fully healed) so his teammates can fill the massive void created when he's not 100% on the floor.

Sir Shareef Abdur-Rahim is all about god, country, family, and winning ~ he could very well be the teammate of the century.

This is silly. Where does this come from? I don't get how this got to be such a prominent theme.

Wouldn't JVG be able to "change him" (another undeserved tag that's been perpetuated here) like he's wont to do supposedly?

It came from the fact that he wouldn't pass anyone else the f*cking ball.
