Mmanal, I don't think the Rockets need another scorer at the 3, they can get along fine with Hawkins, Tmo, and Rice and Nachbar. I like KT...A LOT !! However, I think KT wants to score as much as he can this year in order to get a good contract from WHOMEVER he signs with next year. And who can blame him? He deserves to get paid what he is worth.....now...the problem is that he is redundant on this team, and I would rather see EG getting his minutes. If someone would take MoT, I would trade him first, but since that is not going to happen, I would trade KT by the trading deadline....he deserves to play and a chance also to get a payday. DaDakota
Dakota, The only way I would be ok with trading KT is if he starts becoming a cancer (ie griping about PT and shots). It has been discussed on this site and in the media that KT is a very underrated defensive player also 7 RPG from the 3 spot is very good. KT is more than just a scorer. The problem is that, out of the 4 SFs you mentioned, Hawkins, Rice, Morris and Nachbar; none of them are sure things. Rice b/c of health concerns and the fact that he has not shown a consistent jump shot in a few yrs, and the other three b/c of lack of NBA experience. This team needs to make the playoffs THIS year, no need to take unnecessary risks.
This is amazing, how about being constructive as oppose to just critical. I mean if someone has a bad game you just flat out down on him. Did you watch him tonight? He did great. 20/10, the guy is a solid player. Did you listen to him after the game. He was joking around telling Calvin Murphy he heard the coach tell the warriors to double him and joking about how his thumb made him miss those fts. The guy is funny and awesome. Don't you guys want a team you can love. Certain players when they come here it feels wierd, like pippen and anderson. But Kenny is Rocket kind of guy. Its like we have a trademark for having our players have class. Clyde, Hakeem, great players have class. He is a great person and he is a solid player. If you focus so much on the negative you take so much fun out of the game. What do you think will really come out of sayying a player sucks. WHAT CAN REALLY COME OF THIS? Think real quick. The people on this board who agree will and those who won't will, this won't prove anything. Yet it keeps on happening. You drive away people who come here wanting more. They want to see messages of different things you saw into todays game. Discuss the game in general. Don't be so generic. You can do better then that.
